Publishing: All songs that are recorded with MusicJuice are vested in MusicJuice Publishing. The income is being split as follows: 33% for the Fans, 33% for the Artist and 33% for MusicJuice

No you don't. We have much respect for the privacy of you and the Fans, so we will not share personal information like e-mail addresses with anybody. You are able to send messages to your Fans through the system of MusicJuice.

As an artist you have to be aware of the conditions before you join. Therefore we ask you to read them and sign them. They will only be in effect once you've reached the Goal of 10,000 parts sold.

For the first 12 months after the recording is finished MusicJuice will own the master, after that you the artist will get it and can do with whatever you want.

Since our company is based in Canada we decided to use the CAD currency as the currency of choice. With the highly fluctuating currency and economic changes in other currency we wanted to choose a currency that will remain relatively stable so the artist budget will be worth just as much as when they signed up for this program.

We realize that 100k/150k is a lot of money, but all an artist needs is a maximum of 10000 fans who believe in him/her to reach this goal. We have decided to go for 100k/150k for several reasons. First and foremost important reason is quality. For CD Creation we want to give artists the opportunity to record their music in an environment as high quality as any major label would offer them. For Tour Creation we want to give artist the best stage presence, sound and experience that would match a high profile concert. We are convinced that top studios, recording managers and producers are necessary to lift the music from sounding good to sounding excellent. Secondly we chose to send an exclusive version of the CD/Tour DVD to your home. This service already consumes 20% of the total budget. For the exact split please see the the pie chart. Finally and most importantly we want to set aside 50% for marketing, what good is a CD or Tour without top notch marketing and awareness. We want to make state of the art music and let the world know about it as well to ensure, you the fans will reap the most return for your money.

The reason is because MusicJuice will raise the money for you and help you enlarge your existing fan base. By using our website and community of user you can leverage our marketing to help your band raise the money needed for your needs. If you do this on your own it is almost impossible to achieve that amount of money raised through your fans.

Nothing, every dollar will be used for the recording of the tracks, manufacturing the Digi-Pack and sending it to the fans/Or for Tour Creation to rent the venue set up the stage and hire dancers to make the Tour come alive. The MusicJuice team gets nothing out of this money and will only earn a portion of the money if the CD/Tour becomes a success, which is why you can trust that we will do everything we can to make sure the artist will make money on their creation, meaning you the Artist will profit for SURE!!

MusicJuice gives away 3 tracks per album for free. These are only from the recorded album not on singles that you upload beforehand. These free downloads will serve as a great promotional tool for the artists. Additionally the amount of downloads will determine the free download market share of each artist. The more free music is downloaded from your artist, the more money you and the artist make.

The Fans get 33% of the net profit from the album sales or Tour sales. The money will then be divided to the 10,000 parts, the more parts the fan`s own the more money they will receive.

The Artist can also order stock of the Regular CD, for $7,00 USD only. This includes the $2,00 for The Fans, plus $5,00 for manufacturing, copyright and VAT. In this case MusicJuice will not take a cut from the profit, and The Artist can then sell the Regular CD on his/her own website and/or local record stores and decide how big his/her own margin will be.

Once you've reached the goal we'll call you to congratulate you. In this so called Champagne Call we'll give you the name and details of your A&R manager. He or she will call you a couple of days later and ask you to send demos of the tracks you want to record. A week later you'll meet the A&R manager and discuss your wishes and the MusicJuice recording process. The following weeks you'll rehearse the songs you want to record and have some more meetings with the A & R manager. The moment you and the A&R manager are happy and think you're ready, you'll enter the studio.

Your songs will be available for at least 12 months.

Yes. There are no strings attached. The only obligation you have is to record the CD/Perform the Tour once the goal of 10,000 parts sold is reached.

In the artwork there's room for 'thank you's' to all your supporters, but also to companies that have helped you so far in your career. But please note it's not allowed to place logos of brands or companies in the artwork.

It's your music, it's your choice. So yes you have influence on the recording process. You are responsible for the end result of the recording process. But the A&R Manager is there to help you to get the most out of you, to get the best producer and studio and to make sure that you stay within your budget.

Sure you can make suggestions for other producers or studios. But remember it all has to fit in the budget.

Yes there's room for gear rental or even hiring extra musicians. But remember the budget is limited. You can spend a dollar only once, so if you rent instruments you have less money for other stuff.

Yes, you're absolutely free to do stuff like that. In fact we think it's a great idea to do. The more incentive you give to potential fans the more fans and the fast you will reach your goal. We have already set up a standard offer for all fans to support artist early

The MusicPlayer is a great way for you and other visitors to the site to listen to music from artist on MusicJuice. There will be the Top 50, which is the top 50 songs most added to user playlist. Most Played will featured the 50 most played songs in the past 2 weeks. Random Add will provide the user with a random pull of songs from our large database. There is also a genre button for you to choose the different genre the user is interested in and still use the functions listed above. Finally if you like the song you can add the song to your playlist and this will also help determine the top 50 songs list ranking. When the user likes a song or artist you can click on the artist profile and you can purchase their music; become a fan and invest in their music. So listen often and keep an eye for talent cause you never know which one of them will become the next music sensation, trust your ears, invests lots and often to find those gems out there!!
